Grant by John Warren to John Fulwood, gentleman, Thomas Thelshawe, chaplain, Roger Sly, Alexander Dolffyn, Thomas Dolffyne, John Sydenall, John Browne, and Thomas Wescoke of a croft in Tanworth (Warwics.) called Knallys, extending in length between Blythe Broke and Cheswyckes Grene,and in breadth between land of William Norrys, knight, and land of William Bensford; to be held with the intent that they shall perform the will of the grantor concerning the same. Appended is a "byll" in English setting forth the will of the grantor with regard to the said croft which is to be for his own use during his life and after his decease to the use of William Collet of Kyngeswood and of Isabel his wife; with directions concerning yearly "placebo and dirige" and other religious services, and for the spending of 20 d. in bread and ale and 15 d. in a half penny dole, etc.
